How to hard boil and egg in your instapotHow to instant pot hard boil eggs! Have trouble getting your eggs right? Or maybe you need a LOT of hard boiled eggs super fast? Check out our instant pot method.

Follow these 4 simple steps to boil the perfect egg in your Instant Pot. One boiled egg has an average of 60 calories, which makes it a perfect snack!

  1. Place eggs on top of trivet in the bottom of the pot.
  2. Add 1 cup of water to the pan. Close lid and set for 5 minutes on manual at high pressure.
  3. Allow pot to release pressure for 5 minutes, then release any remaining steam.
  4. Scoop eggs out and place in ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel and store in the refrigerator until ready to eat!

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic clove minced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) package mushrooms sliced
  • 1 (6 ounce) package spinach fresh
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese shredded
  • 5 eggs medium to large

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350*F.
  2. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray.
  3. Heat oil and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until garlic is soft and oil is infused.
  4. Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until veggies are soft.
  5. Add Spinach to the skillet until lightly wilted.
  6. In a bowl, combine eggs, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  7. Add Spinach mixture and stir to blend.
  8. Pour into prepared pan.
  9. Bake until eggs have set, about 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes clean.
  10. Allow it to set up and cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups frozen shredded hash browns thawed, low sodium preferred
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cup fat free egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 tsp Italian blend herb seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 20 slices pepperoni prefer turkey or low fat
  • 3/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend

  1. In a large skillet, cook potatoes and onion in butter until tender and lightly browned.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat eggs, milk, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour over potato mixture; stir to combine.
  4. Sprinkle with pepperoni.
  5. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes or until eggs are set.
  6. Remove from the heat.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for 2 minutes.
  8. Cut into wedges.

  • 6 hard cooked eggs peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1/4 reduced fat mayonnaise with olive oil
  • 16 slices whole wheat bread

Ingredients
  • 8 slices wheat bread with crusts cut off
  • 4 ounces extra lean Canadian bacon
  • 1 1/4 cup fat free egg substitute
  • 2 cups fat free half and half
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese reduced fat
  • 1 tablespoons Italian herb blend no salt added

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray casserole dish (9x13) with cooking spray.
  3. After crust is cut off bread, tear into bite size pieces and place in bottom of casserole dish.
  4. Beat eggs and then add all other ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup cheese to top of casserole) mixing well.
  5. Pour on top of bread mixture and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Optional seasonings: pepper, jalapeno peppers, crushed red pepper.
  7. Let set in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Bake for 35 minutes.
