Green Beans are a vegetable that are abundant and delicious if you know how to cook with them! These versatile veggies can stand alone as a side dish or be incorporated into main courses easily. Below is a little bit more information to help you feel confident cooking with them!

RINSE IN COOL WATER PINCH AND SNAP DOWN THE SEAM OF THE GREEN BEAN REPEAT ON OPPOSITE END TO REMOVE THE TOUGH FIBER DISCARD THE SNAPPED OFF ENDS AND ENJOYHere’s how to snap your fresh bean pods before preparing them for a delicious snack or side dish:

  • Rinse in cool water
  • Pinch the edge and snap down the seam off the pod
  • Repeat on opposite end to remove the tough fiber
  • Discard the snapped off ends and enjoy!
