This basic marinade is versatile and easy to make at a moment’s notice. Making your own marinades can help you control how much sodium and added sugars are in the food you eat. Check out our tips for rubs and marinades so you’re a marinade master!

Ingredients
  • 5 cloves garlic pureed
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
Servings: (4oz of meat per serving)

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Marinade for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight.
Recipe Notes

Recipe makes enough marinade for 2 pounds of meat, serving size was based on a 4 ounce serving for a total of 8 servings.
