Ingredients
  • 6 medium pears Bosc, Bartlett, or Anjou
  • 3 cups Honeycrisp apple cider
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon ground
  • 2 teaspoons cloves ground
  • 1 teaspoon allspice ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice
  • 3 cups cottage cheese, 1%

Instructions
  1. Peel pears and leave whole. If needed cut bottoms, so they will sit flat.
  2. Whisk together apple cider, orange juice, and spices.
  3. Add pears to the Instant pot, stem up and pour in cider mixture.
  4. Secure the cooker lid and turn pressure release knob to a sealed position.
  5. Cook at high pressure for 6 minutes.
  6. When cooking is complete, use a quick release.
  7. With a slotted spoon, carefully remove the pears from the pot and set aside.
  8. Turn cooker to sauté and bring poaching liquid to a boil, continue cooking, stirring occasionally to prevent scorching, until liquid is reduced to a thick sauce.
  9. In food processor with S blade attachment, add cottage cheese and process until smooth.
  10. Leave pears whole and serve on a bed of cottage cheese with two tablespoons of the reduced sauce.
  11. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 3 cups pears peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup fresh pomegranate aril seeds
  • 1/4 cup 100% orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablepoons unsalted butter melted

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat an 8X8 square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cubed pears, pomegranate seeds, orange juice, vanilla, cornstarch, nutmeg, and only 1 tsp of cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix 1 tsp of cinnamon, oats, and flour. Pour over honey and melted butter. Combine well.
  4. Evenly spread fruit mixture into prepared pan and distribute flour mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crumble looks golden.
  6. Let cool so juices can thicken before serving.

  • 4 pears cored, halved
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Nut Oat Crumble
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup pecans chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp almond slivers
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
  1. Core and slice pears in half, place flesh side up on an ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Bush flesh side of pears with olive oil, bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
  3. While pears are cooking, combine oats, pecans, honey, almonds, and brown sugar in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Remove pears from the oven and evenly distribute topping among the pear halves. Bake in the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
