How to Make the Perfect Meatball
Making meatballs for your favorite Italian meal can be a little sticky when it comes to making the meatball from scratch. The most common way of keeping the meat from sticking to your hands is to use cold water to moisten your hands when forming the meatball.
Here is another trick when making meatballs from scratch. If you are going to cook the meatballs right away, use a non-stick skillet without added oil. If you plan on freezing meatballs try the cold water tip.
Remember, to always was your hands before and after preparing raw meats. Help prevent cross contamination by keeping raw foods separate from ready-to-prepare foods. Use a food thermometer to check the internal temperature of ground beef reached a minimum of 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
